I simply can't believe that it is already 2008. I'm still trying to wrap myself around the holidays, and everything that seemed to fly by in an instant. A year ago I was busy playing with my brand new etching press and making pieces like the one pictured above (which I kept since I love it so).
2007 was a pretty life-altering year for me, and taught me the all important lesson of PRIORITIES. That I will never forget. It was also the year I found out I was pregnant, which was indeed a little miracle for us.
Everything that has happened in the past 12 months - both good and bad - have helped shape who I am right now, as I stand on the threshold of a new year and 12 months of new experiences and challenges. The only thing I know for certain is that I will get through it and come out of it changed, and hopefully, better. And that my love, friends, family, and art community will help make it all happen. I simply wouldn't be "me" without all of them. And we get to add one more to the mix in March!
I hope you all have a wonderful 2008, and that it is both enriching and envigorating!
