Look Ma...PHOTOS!

Yes, after not having anything to show lately (well, that and being infinitely lazy about uploading photos from my camera) here, at last, are some shots of what I've been up to lately.

This photo is of an encaustic painting I completed for a group show at Brian Marki Gallery April 2008 in Portland. It is a collaborative project between artists on both coasts, working on diptych pieces together that will then be shown on both coasts, as well as in traveling exhibitions.

This is a photo of my classroom area of my studio. This is where the magic happens at classes, as well as my gallery wall so I can actually be around some of my art. Wall space is truly at a premium in my studio, so this was definitely a must! Most of the pieces on the wall are older acrylic landscapes I painted as well as a few printmaking examples. On the left of the photo includes some small examples of my encaustic painting/collage work.

Four very fun and fun-living students from one of my Beeswax Collage classes! They all wanted to share their art (just not their faces - silly gals!) and I just loved how this came out! You can't say they weren't having fun!
