This is just a little digital illustration I made awhile back, that I found while cleaning my computer - and I thought it fit for the time of year, obviously, and all this cold weather we've been enjoying. Though I must say, I am loving the full bright moon so clear in both the evening AND morning skies...lovely.
Life is good. Remember that the next time I post on here complaining about something. :)
I am officially within 60 days of my due date. Yep, just starting month #8. The baby has been squirming around like crazy and I can tell she is getting ready to make her appearance into the world. I just hope she gives me a bit more time to get things ready...cause the nursery STILL needs work!
Classes are going well and I'm really enjoying teaching them. To everyone that has taken one already; thank you. I enjoy each one of my students and all the enthusiasm and craftiness they bring to class. I think we really can learn from everyone and share things to make all of our lives better - and this is one aspect that has definitely helped.
I've scheduled my February classes - the last until probably May/June (because of the baby) and I am looking forward to them and I know I will miss them while I am enjoying my new little bundle of joy. If you are interested in taking one, the following dates/times are still available!
Beeswax Collage
Feb. 6th - 6pm - 9:30pm
Feb. 16th - 10am - 1:30pm
Encaustic Painting 101
Feb. 9th - 1pm - 4:30pm
Feb. 20th - 6pm - 9:30pm
Well, enough outta me. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday, and a restful and energizing weekend! Take some time out to make something with your hands - whether it be baking or art or home repair. Make something...and spread the joy!

oh, this would make a lovely hanga print. And/Or even an encaustic painting. How about a beautiful layering of transparencies in the encaustic followed by an edition of small hanga prints...this really is a beautiful illustration.
