We finally meet our angel

Here are a couple pictures of our baby, Hazel. She was born by c-section on April 9th at 4:03pm. she weighed 8lbs 9oz and was 22" long...and she was 42weeks and 3 days gestation. She unfortunately had some respiratory issues when she was born and so she spent the first week of her life at Emmanuel hospital's intensive care unit for babies. But, thankfully, we finally got to bring her home this past friday and we are all adjusting to our new life together.

Her first pic was taken at a few days old while at the NICU...notice the lovely little bandaids on her face to hold her oxygen mask in place (which was taken off thank goodness!)

Her second pic is of her on her trip home!!! She looked like an adorable little elf!

I will be very absent on this blog for awhile as we all get to enjoy our new bundle of joy and start being a family. But I just had to share a bit of our hazel with all of you!

What a pretty child! I like her going-home outfit. Such a rich color and unusual in a good way. Absolutely a little "elf" as you said.
